What’s DarkFighterS technology?

DarkFighterS technology represents an advancement beyond the previous Hikvision DarkFighter, showcasing superior capabilities in low-light imaging. Featuring a larger aperture, a specially designed lens, flexible lighting options, and more, Hikvision DarkFighterS cameras will reshape the low-light security experience with always-sharply-focused, professional imaging, in color and in black & white. This technology also gives end users the flexibility to choose the ideal lighting modes for their specific settings and needs.

What makes DarkFighterS different?

The technology uses three key innovations to improve safety in low light conditions, each beginning with the letter “S”. Read about them below.

Superb low-light imaging

F1.0 Super Aperture and advanced sensor ensure superb color reproduction in ambient light as low as 0.0003 lux without additional lighting.

Super confocal lens

Designed with micron-level precision for masterly focus and long-lasting, high-resolution images via an F1.0 large aperture.

Smart hybrid light

Three supplemental lighting modes are available – infrared, white light and smart mode – to meet the needs of many different environments.

What does DarkFighterS make possible?

Always-sharply-focused details

DarkFighterS uses the industry-leading Super Confocal Lens to provide clear, sharply focused images using either visible or infrared light. Delicately designed, the same set of lenses allows light of various wavelengths to travel along the same path and reach the same focal plane.

Flexible lighting for varied scenarios

DarkFighterS offers three supplemental lighting modes: 24/7 color, IR (B&W), or Smart. Users can select the lighting mode that best suits their application needs.

Minimized supplemental lighting

DarkFighterS significantly delays the need for additional lighting by producing color images in ambient light as low as 0.0003 lux. In darkness, users can set motion-triggered supplemental lighting instead of “always-on” lighting to reduce unnecessary energy use.

Where can I use DarkFighterS?

DarkFighterS is suitable for a wide range of applications, particularly where little or no movement is expected at night and where discretion with lighting is required. The technology ensures that would-be trespassers or vandals will not know where the security cameras are located, but will be “surprised” in their tracks.
